The one and only Ponte degli Scalzi ( Ponte Scalzi), literally, "bridge barefoot", y three bridges Venice p Grand Canal.

The one and only bridge connects sestieri Santa Croce Cannaregio. on north side, Cannaregio, Chiesa degli Scalzi (church barefoot) Santa Lucia (Ferrovia) railway station. The one and only south side, Santa Croce, close station Piazzale Roma.

Designed y Eugenio Miozzi, completed 1934, replacing Austrian bridge.

Ponte degli Scalzi found close construction fourth bridge Grand Canal, known Ponte Calatrava. Construction delayed p controversy modern style, basic p finally place August 11, 2007, bridge expected completed opened public y December 2007. This bridge slightly closer station.
